70's Bistro: Coffee Break Island | The Chongkeys | Wilabaliw | Franco

It's been a long time since my last visit in 70's Bistro.  Me and my officemates got the chance to watch a gig there.  I'm a Franco fan and our experience was a blast. Not only we saw Franco play his music but watching other artists such as Coffee Break Island, The Chongkeys and Wilabaliw were totally worth the wait.

The gig usually starts at 10pm but that day it started between 11-12mn.  Somehow we're disappointed because we have work the next day (it ended around 3-4am we were so sleepy). But then we don't have a choice but to wait for the show.  Despite that,  I really had a great time watching four artists in one day.  I appreciate how 70's Bistro support local artists.

 while waiting..

Coffee Break Island

Coffee Break Island is more on Ska, Reggae, and Rock music.  Great artists, great music! Nagsisimula palang ang gabi enjoy na!

The Chongkeys

The fun personality of this band, plus their reggae music makes them so pleasing to watch.  I enjoyed every bit of the performance.  To be honest,  Coffee Break Island and The Chongkeys were enough for me. Sobrang sulit!

Wilabaliw

Ian Tayao of  Queso is also part of Wilabaliw.  Rock music, hard metal, reggae, like seriously they nailed it.  Rakrakan to the max.

Franco

Last but not the least, the reason why we're watching.  It was my third time to see Franco play but it feels like the first time.  Satisfied as Franco sang most of my favorite songs both from his first and second album.  Indeed a great artist!

Mabuhay ang OPM music!  Guys, let us support the OPM music.  There are so many great artists in the Philippines, so at least once in a while, watch their gig and you'll know how good they are. :)
