Pasay: Seaside Dampa in Macapagal

Go Seafoods!

When everybody is craving for seafoods, must try visiting Dampa branches around Metro Manila. Seaside Dampa has its concept of  buying seafoods in the market and ask the restaurant to cook it for you, also known as "paluto".  Cheaper than typical restaurants but the food is great! This is one of the best place to eat when celebrating events with family, friends, officemates, or just when you feel like its high time to pamper yourself with yummy seafoods! Enjoy!

Paluto concept ranges from 100-200 Pesos per kilo, depending on the type of seafood and type of cooking you wish to cook. Where is the market? You don't need to go too far to buy seafoods. The market is here and experience choosing perfect seafood for your dish.

How to get there:
There are numerous establishments near Seaside Dampa so you really won't get lost. Just between SM Mall of Asia and CCP complex, you may take an orange jeep from Gil Puyat LRT Station, it will pass by along this establishment and you may also tell it to the driver to stop by. If you're really not sure, you can just take a cab from the nearest LRT station.

What to eat:
Here are the most common dishes usually ordered:
Sinigang sa Miso as always.
Buttered crab in chili sauce.
Steamed shrimps or in chili sauce too.
Oyster baked with cheese.
Sizzling squid or in adobo style.
Fish (tilapia or lapu-lapu) in sweet and sour sauce.
Calamares

Optional dishes available:
Pancit (canton or bihon)
Pork Liempo
Green Mango Salad (green mango, tomato, and onions chopped)

Where to eat in Dampa?

Check Aling Tonya's when you're at Dampa. They have rooms on 2nd floor (branch/building 2) which can accomodate big groups like us. They didn't charge extra for the room and you can rent their videoke which is a perfect match for this foodtrip. Dishes are equally delicious, and service is good too.

was Php350, for the paluto only? (i mean, were you the ones who bought the shrimps and other stuff in the market?)and how much was the rent for the videoke :DD thanks for your reply :DD

oooh I mean we shared Php350 each. I guess the paluto service is around Php250-300 per kilo. It's a separate payment with the seafoods you'll be buying from the market.

we bought it. but other option is to just let them do buying at the market and cook for you. they have a fixed price for it. As for the videoke, its a 5-peso generated machine. We weren't charged for it, we just fill it up with Php5 everytime we wanted to sing

the food at dampa Macapagal is great! and Aling Tonya's also very good. If you have more time... you can explore different ways to cook what you get in the market... :)
