We all knew how Singapore is such an interesting tourist spot in Asia.  With all the pretty structure and architecture to a wide variety of food choices and theme parks, one could never get tired exploring Singapore.  Still, Singapore made an effort in providing us wide spectrum of offerings to have innovative and unique experiences.

Few hours before our flight back to the Philippines, we were informed that there is an upcoming event in LCCT Airport Terminal in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  And what was it?  Sir Richard Branson, the Virgin Group  founder, (yes, Virgin Atlantic Airlines is part of it!) slipped into a sexy red skirt and get up as a flight attendant on a special Air Asia X charity flight which departed in Perth last May 12, 2013.

Another weekend of fireworks display!  Again, we were at SM Mall of Asia to witness spectacular fireworks in the 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition for the second time, featuring Finland and Portugal.

Witnessing the biggest and brightest fireworks show in Asia, the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition, has been the most awaited event in SM Mall of Asia every first quarter of the year.  It is now on it's 3rd year, and I was lucky to see the actual fireworks upclose last saturday featuring United Kingdom and Spain.

A lot of activities and great events to choose from when entering the month of February.  One of these is the 17th Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark.  I felt bad I wasn't able to witness it last year and I'm hoping opportunity knocks (my time availability hehe) so I can shoot the event this year.

Pyro is back!  Mark your calendars these February and March 2012 as it is another amazing event of beautiful fireworks display in SM Mall of Asia - the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition! I was able to witness at least one schedule last year on a different angle (my old post last year - http://www.adventurousfeet.com/2011/03/philippine-international-2nd.html ), hopefully I can watch again this year in a closer location. :)

Makati: Ayala Triangle Garden's Symphony of Lights

I've been hearing a lot about the Symphony of Lights in Ayala Triangle. My busy schedule at work plus buying gifts for upcoming holiday season didn't permit me to visit Ayala Triangle Garden at the earlier days of December. Thanks to Rizal Day last December 30, I was able to witness the beautiful lights in Ayala Triangle Garden.

Quezon City: Hilera and Franco at 70's Bistro

A week before watching Parokya Ni Edgar gig, my officemates Ahmster and Marco, asked me if I want to watch Hilera and Franco's gig at 70's Bistro.  I didn't think twice of course.  Franco has been one of my favorite bands for quite sometime now and watching them perform live will be a great experience for me.

Quezon City: Experiencing the North Pole Christmas in SM North EDSA

December is already here, and in the Philippines, most Filipinos are looking forward with this month to enjoy Christmas.  Recently, I got a chance to visit SM North EDSA's The North Pole experience and explore their displays placed in Sky Garden.  Their idea was to bring Santa in here to make our malling experience a different one.  Photoshoots are free, so grab your camera, and pull out your family and friends to visit SM North EDSA.  It was a fun moment to see a lot of kids and kids at heart taking photos around.  This is where I say, you don't need to spend a lot to make your kids and loved ones smile. :)

Quezon City: Gloc 9 and Parokya Ni Edgar at 70's Bistro

It was one Monday night of October, when Gloc 9 and Parokya ni Edgar hit the stage of 70's Bistro. I'm one of the many Filipinos who grew up with a lot of Parokya ni Edgar songs.  Almost everybody's a fan, not only because of their great songs but they also manage to stay intact after all these years, where at this point, new bands come into the mainstream continously, and old band members tends to go on separate ways.

It took us almost a year, yes, almost a year, before I was able to watch their gig in 70's Bistro haha. Why?  I was kind of hesitant because of their usual Monday schedule at 70's Bistro, where I still need to get up early for the next day's work.  But upon watching Franco a week before their gig, I realized, whoa, I can manage the puyat pala (sleepless night). Hehe.

Caloocan City: My 30-minute Photography at La Loma Cemetery

As you know, Philippines celebrates All Soul's Day where Filipinos, mostly catholics visit their loved one's grave in remembering and showing how they care to those who passed away.  Because Nov. 1 is a regular holiday (All Saint's Day),  it follows Nov. 2 (All Soul's Day),  so this is the time they visit their deceased friend or family. 

Camarines Norte: Pacific Kaos - Surfing and Skating Competition in October

This coming October, a grand surf  and skate competition is about to happen in Bicol Region.  For surf and skate addicts, here's your chance to show your talent now!  I've tried surfing and I totally love it so I highly support this one and hoping this to be a successful event.  Kudos to the people behind this for their love in their craft, an event that will gather great surfers and skaters around the country, and hopefully from other parts of the world.

NEWS ALERT!  I would like to inform everyone that this year's surfing and skating competition is cancelled.  This is too bad :(  I hope it will be a bigger event next year.
