Part4: Bukidnon-CDO-Iligan-Camiguin Trip Day1 - D' Morvie Suites and Plaza Divisoria in Cagayan De Oro

After our white water rafting, off we went to CDO proper near Plaza Divisoria to look for a cheap place to stay.  We found out D' Morvie Suites that fits our budget. Then we had our dinner in Plaza Divisoria.

Part3: Bukidnon-CDO-Iligan-Camiguin Trip Day1 - White Water Rafting in Cagayan De Oro City

The Meet-Up

We still have hangovers on our Bukidnon adventure, yet we are already excited on our rafting after lunch. Hehe. We asked Kuya Boyet to drop us in SM mall as one of us needs to buy a pair of rubber slippers. We took our lunch here and wait for our contact person in Redrafts to pick us up.

Part2: Bukidnon-CDO-Iligan-Camiguin Trip Day1 - Ultralight Flying Plane Gecko Adventure in Del Monte Pineapple Farm!

Roadtrip to Bukidnon

Our first day started on our roadtrip to Bukidnon. We left the airport at 6am and arrived in Bukidnon's Del Monte pineapple farm around 7:30am.  If you're going to commute, I guess it will take you about 2hrs of travel, but because we avail Kuya Boyet's service (check part 1 of this blog for his car service information - ) we reached it much faster.

Part1: Bukidnon-CDO-Iligan-Camiguin Trip Day1 - Landing at Cagayan De Oro City

It's been a year and a half since I've been dreaming of visiting these places. It all started when I'm searching for beautiful falls that led me on wondering Iligan and then later on discovered the must-try adventure of white water rafting in Cagayan De Oro City.  Unexpectedly, it surpassed my expectations because it's a four-day trip that we managed to at least explore a bit of Bukidnon, Cagayan De Oro, Iligan, and Camiguin.  Sounds fun?  Definitely!

At the heart of the island's district lies a beautiful destination not just for tourists but also a hit with the locals -the Hagimit Falls. This is our last stop in Samal Island, nonetheless, it is worthy and lovely.

Part9: The Davao Experience - Kaputian Beach Park in Samal Island

After the hidden Canibad Beach Cove exploration, we are set to go in the southern part of Samal Island. Because it's a long ride, our motorbike drivers/guides took a break and so we had a chance to check some overlooking somewhere along the highway.

Part7: The Davao Experience: Monfort Bat Cave in Samal Island

Our first stop in Samal Island is the Monfort Bat Cave. There's a minimal entrance fee which is more or less Php 20.00.  This is not your usual caving experience that would go inside and explore.  What I enjoyed here is seeing lots of bats I haven't encountered in my life. Located in the upper part of the island, it can be reached by riding a motorbike (habal-habal) for commuters or through private vehicles.

Part4: The Davao Experience - Outland Adventure Extreme Zipline!

As they say, this is the "Ultimate Adventure Challenge". Why?  Beacuse, you'll have to cross the river, climb up at the top, then go on one of the fastest zipline created. Feel like trekking! Even those who are really afraid of heights will love this!  Every zipline has its own strength; Zipline at Danao (Bohol) is higher, while Zipline here in Outland Adventure is much faster.

Part9: Cebu-Bohol Trip (Day4) - Balicasag and Virgin Island Escapade

Aside from extreme adventure and land tours in bohol, one of the best attraction here is the balicasag tour. Balicasag Island is best for diving and snorkeling.  The best time to do this is early morning with Dolphin watching first, but because this is not part of the plan, we end up doing it in the afternoon (just did swimming and beach bumming in the morning).

Part7: Cebu-Bohol Trip (Day3) - Chocolate Hills & Bohol Tours

After our short but full packed adventure in Danao, off we went to see the Chocolate Hills and other Bohol City Tours.  We skipped Sagbayan Peak to lessen our travel time, because we wanted to experience the Loboc River Cruise with Buffet Lunch wherein it will only be available until 2pm.  You may opt to choose the night cruise though.

Part6: Cebu-Bohol Trip (Day3) - E.A.T. Danao Extreme Adventure (see the video!)

On our very first day in Bohol, we went to Danao to check the E.A.T. (Extreme/Eco/Educational Adventure Tour) Danao Adventure!  They offer lots of adventure here such as zipline, cable car, plunge - canyon swing (close to bungee jumping), caving, rapelling, river tubing and many more!  This is on first come, first serve basis. The only reservations i think is if you want to do some caving.

Part5: Cebu-Bohol Trip (Day3) - Off to Bohol

We woke up at around 4am for our 5:45 schedule ferry trip to Bohol. Oops! we don't have ticket yet, as the MV Starcraft said before, they do not book in advance.  Again, when we arrived at Pier 1, we asked guys wearing MV Starcraft Shirt where can we buy tickets and he just pointed it out.

Part4: Cebu-Bohol Trip (Day2) - Kawasan Falls Experience

On our second day in Cebu, we planned visiting Kawasan Falls. Kawasan Falls is located in Badian, southern part of Cebu. This is most likely 3-4 hours from Cebu City. Long journey to see the beautiful falls, nevertheless, it was worth it.

Part3: Cebu-Bohol Trip (Day1) - The Sky Experience Adventure

And you thought our day is over? After we ate our dinner, its time for some fun loving adventure. The Crown Regency Hotel and Tower's Sky Experience Adventure.

Part2: Cebu-Bohol Trip (Day1) - The Cebu City Tour

After our lunch, it's time for some action! I bought a map to guide us (they say there's a map at the airport but I wasn't able to have one).  We realize then, we didn't need a rented car to tour us to Cebu, and it is much much cheaper!

Batangas: Moonlight Beach Resort in Laiya, San Juan

Beach beach beach!

Every summer in the Philippines, we couldn't help but think of going out of town and take a plunge at the beaches around. Likewise, I had an opportunity to do so, and just 3 hours away from Manila you can do as much swim as you can at the beaches in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. Beaches here are much better compare to other part of batangas. It's a sandy beach indeed, where you can bring along your kids to do some sand castles, and the seawater is clean too.
