Company Outing: Terrazas de Punta Fuego Beach Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas

Few years back, we had our company outing in Punta Fuego in Nasugbo, Batangas.  After a year I realized that I accidentally deleted the photos in my computer, kainis diba? And what's left?  The few photos I uploaded in my personal facebook account.  Maybe it is too late to post but then I think I still want to share the photos left.  If someone might think of going here for a weekend getaway, at least he/she'll have an idea of what to see. :)

Part5: Singapore Trip Day 3 - Exploring Bugis and Chinatown

On our third day in Singapore, we went out to explore Bugis and Chinatown.  I heard that it is best to go to these places when hunting for souvenirs.  We love buying pasalubong (souvenir or food products) for our friends and family back home.  Yes, most often, it cost a lot but we wanted to share the happiness brought to us by traveling.  I guess that's our culture, Filipinos are so thoughtful. :)

Part1: Singapore Trip Day 1 - Transportation Guide To Singapore

Singapore is my second out of the country trip early last year.  This prosperous city-state is so well known because of many Filipinos working here, mostly in tourism and IT industry.  This became memorable for me because of the misadventures we had during planning and the trip itself.  Nonetheless, Singapore is worth visiting I'd love to come back.

May Day Bank Holiday: Seaside Shenanigans

No sooner does Easter disappear from view, do we see another half term on the horizon and, as always, keeping the kids entertained for the duration will ensure that stress won’t rear its ugly head. For most schools across the country, half term this year falls at the end of the month, between the 27th and the 31st May and, with warm summer weather expected, it’d be a perfect time to head for the seaside.

Gorgeous Gambia

If you're looking for somewhere that little bit different, that boasts all the trappings of a classic beach holiday with a good dose of tropical paradise thrown in, Gambia is the place to be.

In this wonderful place on the west coast of Africa, holidays are all about taking it easy. With sun-drenched beaches and cloudless blue skies, it's certainly not hard to do - especially with all those hammocks strung between whispering palms, quaint thatched beach huts serving up tempting refreshments, and powder-soft sand that you're just aching to feel between your toes.

Dubbed the 'smiling coast of West Africa', the Gambia is certainly a holidaymaker's paradise. Here you can enjoy a hearty welcome and dive into the Gambian culture by tasting delicious cuisine and local delicacies, either at your hotel or by enjoying a meal at a local restaurant.

But a trip to the Gambia is not your average beach break - far from it. Beyond the classic combo of sun, sea and sand, holidays in Gambia serve up a fascinating blend of history and culture. Join a local excursion to experience the local way of life, or take a 'Roots tour' to discover the notorious slave trade and the unforgettable impact it had on local Gambian life.

Of course, Gambia is also home to an abundance of wildlife. See magnificent animals in their natural habitat including acrobatic monkeys, exotic birds and armour-plated crocodiles.Take a boat ride down the Gambian River to see wildlife and natural scenery up close and personal, or enjoy an excursion across its glorious landscapes, taking in soul-stirring scenery and the type of views that will live with you forever.

Talk about a holiday with a difference. There's so much to see and do in gorgeous Gambia, it really is the holiday of a lifetime.
